9.30 – 11.00 – Seminars: Northern Irish Drama/ The plays of Synge

11.30-13.00 – Seminars: Violence in Irish Drama / Synge and Contemporary Irish Drama

14.00 – 15.30: Christopher Murray, 'The Outsider and the Pastoral in Irish Drama from Synge to Barry'

16.00 – 17.30: Sara Keating ‘Evolving Playboys for the Global World’ – Recent Productions of The Playboy of the Western World

20.00: Performance at Mermaid Arts Centre: The Parting Glass by Dermot Bolger (world premiere). Followed by post-show discussion.
